F.&E. Aubel Company Enamel Sign

For sale is a very rare enamel sign advertising the F.&E. Aubel Company of 2503 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia.  The sign reads “ANOTHER AUBEL PRODUCT” and the address of the company.  This porcelain enameled sign measures 8 x 12 inches and is quite heavy.  It has rust around the edges and on the back, and a hole (likely from a bullet) in the middle of the sign as shown.  Overall it’s rough, but very solid and heavy.  This signs rarity trumps its condition in any case.  A great survivor of industrial Philadelphia.
