1923 Bromley Atlas, Plate
Big, beautiful and original! 23 by 33 linen map of the 42nd Ward between Wister Street and Ogontz Avenue, and below Thorps (Chew) Street. This portion of the atlas features the land would go onto become La Salle University's permanent campus in 1930. At this point, it is merely undeveloped private land, owned by the Wister and Meigs family. The map also features the full extent of the Belfield Country Club, the Rest Haven Sanitarium, and "Shady Hill" Estate.
