For sale is a very rare souvenir of the 1876 Centennial Exposition held here in Philadelphia. This beautiful transferware or Prattware saucer measures 6” in diameter and features a multicolored scene of the Centennial grounds and Memorial Hall. At the bottom are the words “PHILADELPHIA EXPOSITION 1876.” This is not a reproduction piece. This is original and has no chips or cracks in the porcelain. There are a few light scratches to the burgundy border, but nothing serious. This is a very rare survivor and a great piece of Philadelphia History.
