Abe Levis opened his legendary restaurant in1895, and for the next 97 years, Philadelphians enjoyed his distinctive hot dogs,Davidson Neon rescued the 13 foot neon icon, and with help from North Star, installed it atop that popular bar & restaurant. On June 30th, 1994, Mayor Ed Rendell threw the switch at the "Levis 99th Anniversary Neon Relighting."
